Hi! I'm Smudge (aka Mini Mog)
My story isn't as 'normal' as my Big Cousin. My human went to pick him up from some seaside place. I almost wasn't so lucky.
It was Christmas time. I'd escaped from somewhere, can't remember exactly. Got myself lost I did. I remember calling out for a whole day and night. I had heard friendly whistles but was too scared to reply! I went silent and the whistles stopped.
Anyway, I managed to keep myself warm enough until the next day when I thought I should make more noise! So I did and eventually this really really tall human found me next to a plant pot. He said, 'Hello, what are you doing down there?' After that, another human, not quite so tall came and scooped me up and put me in a warm scarf.
They took me home (not a very long walk, about two gardens away?) and put some food on the floor for me. I gobbled it up!
5 months later I'm so happy and well looked after! My big cousin hisses at me sometimes but I don't mind.
